Hello, Thank you to everyone who entered the story contest. I hope you had fun writing your entries, as I did reading them and seeing all the different ways the story could go. Anyway, the competition is now finished and the winner is .....*Drumroll*.......:iconledbrite: This is the story starter with the new part added:

I enter the dark and dingy room. I cannot see anything around me, and for all I know I am completely alone. I shiver as the reality of what I am about do hits me. Once this is done there is no going back. Nothing will ever be the same. The lights turn on and blind my eyes. I turn around but still cannot see anything as the brightness stuns my eyes.

'I knew you'd eventually come' A voice says from in front of me. I do not know this voice but yet know it must be gavin's as he is the one from who the note was signed by.

'I had no choice, you wouldn't leave me alone' My voice quiver’s in fear. I feel so small. I don’t know if I can do this. I have two choices, either go through with the plan, or join them. I don’t know what scares me most, but I have to make my decision now.

In the back of my mind, the promised safety of the plan whispers reassurances to me, promising that everything will be fine as long as I follow instructions. But now that I’m here, that seems so impossibly hard to do. In my fear-constrained mind, I can’t remember the plan.
Shivering, heart jamming in my throat as I hug myself close, eyes closed tight in a desperate attempt to adjust them to the light, I try to recall the words I’d rehearsed, the ones I’d worked so long to prepare.
Opening my eyes a slit, I find that I’m able to see now.
“Well, come on. Are you ready to see it?” the person (who I assume is Gavin) demands, his eyes dark, unreadable, as he stares at me.
“See what?” I ask, my timidity fleeing as I lower my guard. Now that I know I’m not being threatened, and now that things have flown so completely out of hand, I’ve given up on trying to recall the plan. For now.
His eyes glow, his eagerness lighting them just as it fills his voice. Seductively warm, close in tone to an excited little boy’s, it’s a disarming sound, one that urges me to trust him and let him confide his secret to me.
“To see our creation!” he explains exultantly, leaning close to breath those words into my ear. Stepping back, he studies me, expression removed as he closes me off again, silently taunting me to refuse him or come with him.
Smiling, I take his hand and squeeze it, inside shuddering at the cold touch of his skin against mine and concealing my revulsion towards him. “Let’s go see it,” I reply, my mind working frantically. For now, I had bought myself time. Time to remember the plan. Then, all it would take would be an opportunity to carry it out.
  Until then, I’d play along.

The contest for the next part will be open very soon, good Luck to anyone who enters.
